On May 15, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee coordinated with the National Humanitarian Information Portal 1400, the Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee and a number of functional units to launch the fundraising campaign "Accompanying poor and disabled children".

The campaign will run until July 10 with two forms of support: text TE to 1406 (VND 20,000/text) and support via charity account 2022 (open the banking application, scan QR Code, make a transfer with the transfer content YEU TRE, send to account number 2022 at Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank with account name: Vietnam Red Cross Society).

Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, launched a campaign to accompany poor and disabled children.

According to Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, President of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the campaign aims to mobilize people nationwide to join hands to support resources to support food, transportation, kitchens, clean water and sanitation facilities for poor, disabled, orphaned children, children affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, children in especially difficult areas, contributing to improving nutrition and living conditions for them. At the same time, through the program, the organizers hope to raise awareness, concern and sharing of the whole society in caring for and protecting children - the future buds of the country.

Representatives of functional agencies send text messages to support the fund to accompany poor and disabled children.

The highlights of the program's communication and mobilization activities will be focused on the following events: National Children's Summer Camp held on May 28 in Ho Chi Minh City; Sunflower Summer Camp 2023 in Hanoi held in the first week of June; "Spreading Love" workshop held in Hanoi scheduled for June 20, integrating activities in the Month of Action for Children 2023. All fundraising funds from the program will be agreed upon by the co-organizing units in terms of content, support methods, and implementation locations to ensure practicality, effectiveness, and dissemination of the program's target messages.
