Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Huynh Cao Chanh affirmed: "Books are the treasure trove of human knowledge, the key to open the door of wisdom, the teacher who lights up the boundless source of knowledge, nurturing the soul and character of each person. Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day is also an opportunity to honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of reading culture in the community, contributing to building a system of cultural values and standards for Vietnamese people".

The launching ceremony is one of the main activities in a series of activities to celebrate the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2025 in the whole province.

In order to promote the pioneering, creative and studious role of the youth, on behalf of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Vo Minh Quoc called on: "All union members, youth and students in the whole province to actively participate in activities in response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2025. Youth Unions at all levels continue to proactively coordinate closely with the Department of Culture, libraries, schools and related organizations to concretize and deeply and widely implement the program "Each youth has a book as a friend". Let each of your days start or end with a page of a book. Let the future of Long An be nurtured from knowledge - culture and love of reading today".

The launching ceremony of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day - 2025 sends the message: "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books", "Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity". Thereby, promoting the development of the reading movement, giving books, replicating good models, promoting reading culture in the community, contributing to building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity.

At the launching ceremony, sponsors donated books to schools in Duc Hue district with a total cost of 50 million VND. In addition, the units also gave 90 gifts to students in difficult circumstances, each gift worth 1 million VND.

On this occasion, Duc Hue District People's Committee awarded 13 prizes to collectives with outstanding achievements in the 4th District Art Book Arrangement Competition in 2025./.
