On August 17, Market Management Team No. 3 - Market Management Department of Quang Binh province announced that it had just fined a company 30 million VND for not notifying the state management agency of its e-commerce website.
Previously, the Inspection Team of Market Management Team No. 3 conducted an inspection of VCD Service Company Limited located in Dong Hung village (Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province).
Through inspection, it was discovered that the Company's website was operating and selling all kinds of food. This website has an online ordering function, with full information about prices and payment methods of goods.
Ms. NTN - Chairman and Director of VCD Service Company Limited admitted that the website was set up to serve the Company's online sales activities.
Through searching the Ministry of Industry and Trade's E-commerce Management Portal, there is no data on whether the Company has notified the e-commerce sales website to the competent state management agency.
The Captain of Market Management Team No. 3 has issued a decision to administratively sanction VCD Service Company Limited with a fine of 30 million VND, for the act of not notifying the e-commerce website selling goods to the competent state management agency as prescribed before selling goods.
