(BLC) - Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee has just issued Notice No. 85/TB-UBND on temporary traffic diversion to serve the construction of repairing landslides caused by floods at Km41+800/DT.129, Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province.
Up to now, the Department of Transport has directed the construction unit to temporarily restore traffic to 1 lane. Accordingly, to ensure traffic safety on the route during the continued construction to repair the above-mentioned landslide location, and at the same time avoid causing congestion for vehicles participating in traffic, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee announces temporary traffic diversion (2nd time) as follows:
1. Trucks with 3 axles or more (except for gasoline and oil trucks, relief trucks, postal vehicles, and priority vehicles as prescribed) and passenger cars with more than 30 seats are prohibited from traveling through Km41+800 on Provincial Road 129 in Sin Ho district, Lai Chau province.
Implement traffic flow as follows: Direction from Lai Chau City to Sin Ho district center and vice versa: Follow National Highway 4D, National Highway 12 to Km70/National Highway 12, turn left onto Provincial Road 128 to Sin Ho district center.
Directions from lowland communes of Sin Ho district to the center of Sin Ho district and vice versa: Follow DT.133 to Seo Leng intersection, turn right onto DT.129 to Ta Ghenh intersection, turn left onto DT.129B, continue to Nam Pay intersection, turn left onto Km24+050/QL.12, continue to Km70/QL.12, turn left onto DT.128 to the center of Sin Ho district.
Traffic ban and diversion time starts from 10:00 a.m. on August 10, 2023 until further notice.
2. Request Lai Chau Department of Transport to direct the route management unit to urgently install traffic signs; coordinate with relevant units and localities to guide and regulate traffic so that drivers participating in traffic on route DT.129 comply.
