Traffic diversion on the occasion of Hung Kings' death anniversary in the year of At Ty 2025

(PLVN) - To avoid traffic congestion for tourists visiting the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day - Hung Temple Festival in 2025, Phu Tho Provincial Police have developed traffic diversion plans from a distance. The period is from March 29, 2025 to April 7, 2025 (ie from March 1 to March 10 of the lunar calendar).

Phu Tho Provincial Police have come up with the following traffic diversion plan:

For vehicles going to the festival, from IC7 intersection (Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway) enter Phu Dong street, pass Truong Chinh street, Nguyen Tat Thanh street to the Central parking lot of the Hung Temple historical relic site; the parking lot on the route to the Monument of heroic martyrs. Vehicles from IC8 intersection turn left onto National Highway 2, at Km 67+300 (Military Zone 2 gas station intersection), turn right onto National Highway 32C to the parking lot on the route to the Monument of heroic martyrs or go straight to the Central parking lot of the Hung Temple historical relic site.

For vehicles from Vinh Phuc following National Highway 2 to Hung Temple, following National Highway 2, cross Hac Tri Bridge or Viet Tri Bridge to BigC intersection, turn right onto Nguyen Tat Thanh Street and go straight to the Central parking lot of Hung Temple Historical Site or the parking lot on the route to the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.


Vehicles from Vinh Phuc cross Vinh Phu bridge to Hung Temple, go to Nguyen Du extended street then turn right onto Nguyen Tat Thanh street to the Central parking lot of Hung Temple historical relic site or on Nguyen Tat Thanh street to the parking lot on the route to the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.

In case vehicles from Hanoi cross Van Lang bridge to Hung Temple, go straight across Van Lang bridge to the intersection with Hung Vuong street, turn left onto Hung Vuong street (to the intersection with Nguyen Tat Thanh street), turn left onto Nguyen Tat Thanh street to the Central parking lot of Hung Temple historical relic site. For vehicles from Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai provinces, follow National Highway 2 to Hung Temple to the intersection with National Highway 32C (Gas Station of Military Zone 2), turn right onto National Highway 32C to the parking lot on the route to the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs or the Central parking lot of Hung Temple historical relic site.

Vehicles from Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai provinces and Doan Hung, Thanh Ba districts (Phu Tho) follow Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway to IC9 intersection (Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway) then go to IC8 intersection, turn left onto National Highway 2, go to Km 67+300 (Military Zone 2 gas station intersection), turn right onto National Highway 32C to the parking lot on the way to the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs or go straight to the Central parking lot of the Hung Temple Historical Site.


Vehicles from Son La, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai and Tam Nong, Thanh Thuy, Thanh Son, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa, Tan Son, Yen Lap districts (Phu Tho) will follow one of the following options:

Option 1: Vehicles follow National Highway 32, 32C to Hung Temple and vice versa, follow National Highway 32, 32C to Ho Chi Minh Road, cross Ngoc Thap Bridge, turn right onto Provincial Road 320, then turn right onto Provincial Road 320B, National Highway 2D, turn left onto National Highway 32C to avoid Viet Tri city, then turn left onto Truong Chinh Street, turn left onto Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to the Central Parking Lot of the Hung Temple Historical Site or on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street; parking lot on the way to the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.

Option 2, vehicles traveling along National Highway 32, 32C through Van Lang Bridge, turn left onto National Highway 32C avoiding Viet Tri city to the intersection of Nu market, enter National Highway 32C avoiding Viet Tri city to Km 10+800, turn right onto Truong Chinh, Nguyen Tat Thanh street to the Central parking lot of the Hung Temple historical relic site or the parking lot on the route to the Monument to the Heroes and Martyrs... For taxis taking passengers to the Hung Temple area, stop to drop off passengers, turn around at the beginning of Lu Gia street (intersection of Provincial Road 325C). Vehicles traveling from Lam Thao along National Highway 32C to the Hung Temple area stop to drop off passengers, turn around in the outside area, at the entrance to the main gate of the Hung Temple (adjacent to the entrance to the garden area). For vehicles going from Mieu Bridge (road to Chu Hoa Commune People's Committee), passing Regiment 652 and Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to Hung Temple area, stop to drop off passengers, turn around near the intersection of Nguyen Tat Thanh Street and National Highway 32C (adjacent to the Central parking lot). Taxis are not allowed to enter the Hung Temple area; are not allowed to stop or park along the road to pick up or drop off passengers...


Particularly, all types of motorbikes following the instructions of the traffic police force to Hung Temple will park their vehicles in parking lots No. 1, 2 and No. 3 according to regulations. In addition, vehicles carrying goods not entering Hung Temple following the instructions of the traffic police and the remote traffic plan of Phu Tho Provincial Police to move in accordance with regulations to ensure smooth traffic, avoid congestion...
