Strive to complete about 30,671 social housing apartments by 2025

Bac Ninh is considered the leading locality in the country in social housing construction. From 2021 to now, Bac Ninh has 25 projects completed and granted construction permits, which when completed will meet the demand for nearly 20,000 apartments.

Through review and planning, Bac Ninh province has identified about 175 hectares of land for investment in social housing construction, basically meeting the assigned development targets and plans. Accordingly, Bac Ninh province will develop 30,671 apartments in the 2021-2025 period and 41,514 apartments in the 2026-2030 period.

In addition, Bac Ninh province has also implemented 54 social housing projects for low-income people and housing for workers in industrial parks, with a total land area of ​​about 173 hectares. When completed, the project will provide about 7.1 million square meters of floor space with more than 77,000 apartments for about 231,000 people.

To effectively implement the Housing Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2025, especially to complete the project targets assigned by the Government to Bac Ninh (by 2025, about 30,671 apartments will be completed), the Bac Ninh Construction sector will advise the province on a number of planning solutions; review and evaluate the implementation status of ongoing housing projects, promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in compensation and support for site clearance...

At the same time, assign specific responsibilities to sectors in monitoring and urging investors and localities to implement plans, especially social housing projects, on schedule.

District-level localities shall review, synthesize, and specifically evaluate the implementation status of ongoing housing development projects, ensuring that they are consistent with local development needs and the Housing Development Plan of Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2025.
