The design is inspired by the beauty of butterflies, woven from many golden butterfly shapes to increase the visual effect. The Da Nang-born designer uses the technique of constructing a corset to tighten the waist, combined with a flared skirt to create a 3D shape. The butterfly details on the dress are made from mesh fabric and mirror-coated mica to create reflection. Thanks to that, when standing under the lights, Pham Bang Bang shines even more because of this mirror effect.

Designer Chung Thanh Phong said that a week after the CTP No.2 collection launch show, Pham Bang Bang's stylist contacted him to order this dress for the actress to go to Cannes. Based on the original dress, he modified it according to the star's measurements in time to send it to China. The entire butterfly wing was laser-cut, while the beads and Swarovski crystals were hand-embroidered on the body of the dress. The 8X designer said that it took him more than a month to complete this design.
The design is part of Chung Thanh Phong's latest collection called CTP No.2 , which was performed by a Vietnamese model in Phu Quoc in April 2023.
