Accompanying the city's events, Da Nang Power Company Limited (PC Da Nang) has made a plan to ensure safe, continuous and effective electricity supply from now until March 31, 2025.
Based on the operation of the Da Nang power system, the city's load is expected to reach about 545 MW from March 26 to March 30, 2025, with a daily output of 10.5 million kWh. Da Nang Power Company will not carry out any work that causes interruption or reduction of power supply to customers from March 28 to March 29, except for incident handling work or at the request of competent authorities. The company also works with Power Transmission Company 2 and the Central Power System Control Center to plan electricity priority, ensuring continuous power supply to 220kV and 110kV transformer stations in the city during this time.

On March 29 alone, the maximum capacity is forecast to be around 505 MW, with daily output of 9.9 million kWh. PC Da Nang plans to mobilize backup generators and arrange staff to be on duty at important festival locations in the city, in case of incidents at 110kV transformer stations and 22kV medium voltage lines. The company has also established specific methods for each case to transfer the load appropriately depending on the time.
To ensure the safe and continuous operation of the power grid, the Company has directed all affiliated units to inspect, detect and handle defects in power source equipment, power grid, DAS distribution grid automation system; inspect and restore control signals of segmentation and communication devices on the grid; handle cases at risk of violating the line corridor, especially the 110kV grid. At the same time, the Company requires units to strengthen inspection and reinforcement of the medium and low voltage grid, work with construction project owners to prevent incidents, and propagate to prevent cases of flying kites near power lines, acts of shooting metal-coated paper fireworks and throwing objects onto the lines that violate the safety corridor of the power grid.

Following closely the cultural, political and sports activities of the city, the Company has also proactively worked with local authorities and organizing units to grasp the time and location of each event. On that basis, arrange a reasonable power supply method to operate the power grid safely under normal conditions and flexibly switch in case of incidents; at the same time, arrange on-duty forces, prepare spare materials and equipment, fuel, communication systems and vehicles throughout the duration of the events.
On this occasion, PC Da Nang also introduced to the people and tourists participating in the festival the images and beauty of electricians, the history of formation and development of Da Nang Electricity Company through the Company's booth at the exhibition "Da Nang - 50 years of development and integration" from March 26, 2025 to March 30, 2025 at Phan Dang Luu Street, the front area of Tien Son Sports Palace, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City.
With careful and thorough preparation of power supply plans, readiness in plans, and a sense of responsibility; PC Da Nang aims to meet the safety, stability and reliability of all events during this holiday, contributing to the socio-economic development, security and defense in the city as well as fulfilling the company's political tasks for Da Nang city.
