Accordingly, from June 26, Pacific Airlines will start operating daily flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi , Da Nang, and Chu Lai with a total of 6-8 flights.

During some peak periods, the airline will proactively increase flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa , Vinh, Hue, Tuy Hoa to meet passenger travel needs.

With the above flight schedule, the airline will provide a total of nearly 1,000 flights, equivalent to more than 180,000 seats during the peak tourist season. To prepare the necessary fleet resources, Pacific Airlines will successively receive and put into operation three Airbus A321 aircraft.

During this restructuring phase, in addition to restoring the flight network, Pacific Airlines will also comprehensively upgrade its service standards. Its customers will experience service with the same quality as Vietnam Airlines.

The most notable change is that Pacific Airlines will provide business and economy class services with meals and baggage included in the ticket, similar to Vietnam Airlines. Passengers will also be eligible for the mileage policy for Golden Lotus members.

Previously, due to the very serious financial situation, cash flow shortage, large overdue debt threatening to default, Vietnam Airlines and its shareholders decided to pay off the entire fleet of Pacific Airlines to settle the debt. March 18 was also the day the airline's last plane left Vietnam.

Pacific Airlines is the first low-cost airline in Vietnam, once invested by Australia's Qantas Group.

However, due to ineffective business, in October 2020, Qantas Group withdrew from Pacific Airlines and transferred 30% of its shares to Vietnam Airlines in the form of a gift. By the first quarter of 2022, the deal was completed, Vietnam Airlines has held nearly 99% of shares in Pacific Airlines since then.
