(Dan Tri) - Declaring a state of emergency will allow the US government to use military resources to carry out deportation of illegal immigrants.

In a post on the social network Truth on November 18, US President-elect Donald Trump said he was preparing to declare a national emergency as part of a plan to deport illegal immigrants on a large scale from the US.
Over the weekend, Mr. Trump’s team evaluated plans to declare a national emergency to free up Pentagon resources and tweaked that declaration to pave the way for expanded detention space for illegal immigrants.
During his first term, Mr. Trump declared a national emergency on the border with Mexico to bypass Congress and used Pentagon funds to build a border wall to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the United States.
Mr. Trump was re-elected on November 5 and will take office on January 20. During the election campaign, he pledged to continue the policy of immigration control.
Trump's top priority is border security, senior adviser Jason Miller said. The American Immigration Council estimates that Trump's deportation plan could affect 11-14 million illegal immigrants across the United States.
