On the All-In podcast, investor Jason Calacanis suggested that the US needs to retain more legal skilled workers. Mr Trump responded: "I promise... You graduate from college, I think you should automatically get a green card as part of your degree."

It is unclear whether Mr Trump is referring to all foreigners or just those on student visas. The Trump campaign said only the “highest skilled graduates” would be able to stay after “the most thorough vetting process”.
During his 2017-2021 term, Trump restricted H-1B visas and tried to force foreign students to leave the US if their schools held online classes during the pandemic. After strong opposition, the administration withdrew the order.
Mr. Trump also criticized the Biden administration for its handling of illegal border crossings. In the interview, Mr. Trump also ruled out sending U.S. troops to Ukraine and expressed skepticism about Ukraine joining NATO. On abortion rights, Mr. Trump said he would not support a federal ban.
