Mr. Thai Thanh Quy ceased to be Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 1298 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on approving the resignation of Head of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved Mr. Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, to cease holding the position of Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province due to a job transfer.

The Resolution takes effect from November 19.

On October 26, the Central Economic Committee held a conference to implement the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Nghe An province, will cease to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the same time, the Politburo mobilized, assigned and appointed Mr. Thai Thanh Quy to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.
