Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai is Secretary of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

On January 18, the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work. The conference was chaired by Mr. Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission. At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the conference, Mr. Do Trong Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's decision to allow Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai to stop participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and stop holding the position of Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2020-2025, to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

In his assignment speech, Mr. Le Minh Hung highly appreciated the capacity and experience of Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, emphasizing that he is a well-trained officer with a scientific, democratic, decisive and grassroots working method.

Mr. Le Minh Hung suggested that the new Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee quickly approach the work, together with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee focus on implementing the goals and tasks of the 2020-2025 term, especially in building and streamlining the apparatus to operate effectively, well implementing the planning goals of Ca Mau province for the period 2021-2030, vision 2050.

Taking on the new assignment, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai pledged to make every effort to work with the Party Committee, government and people of Ca Mau province to promote the tradition of solidarity and successfully complete the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress. He affirmed that he would continue to inherit the achievements of previous generations, and at the same time hoped to receive attention and support from the Party Central Committee, leaders at all levels, and all people to realize the goal of sustainable development of Ca Mau province.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, 48 years old, from Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City, has a master's degree in urban management, construction engineering, bachelor's degree in economics and senior political theory. Before holding the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Hai held many important positions such as: Secretary of District 3 Party Committee; Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Previously, on January 17, in Kien Giang, Mr. Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai to hold the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, replacing Mr. Do Thanh Binh, who was transferred to hold the position of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee.
