Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet - Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Director of the Vietnam Sports Department.

Before taking on the new position, Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet had nearly 1.5 years as Chief of Office - Spokesperson of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, since August 31, 2023. In addition, he was also one of the 3 Deputy Directors of the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department in the period 2019-2023.
