Xuyen Viet Oil is one of nearly 40 major petroleum trading enterprises nationwide, granted a petroleum import-export business license by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on November 19, 2021, valid for 5 years.
The company holds a large market share in petroleum products in the Western region, with headquarters located in Vo Thi Sau ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
This Western petroleum "giant" registered its main business line as wholesaling solid, liquid, gaseous fuels and related products.
In addition, the enterprise registered to retail other new goods in specialized stores, specifically buying and selling gold jewelry, fine arts (except trading in gold bars), precious and semi-precious stones, diamonds; transporting goods by road; real estate business and real estate brokerage.
In August, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien also decided to revoke the business license to export and import gasoline for Xuyen Viet Oil.
At the same time, this petroleum wholesale enterprise is required to immediately transfer the entire amount of the petroleum price stabilization fund at the enterprise to the State budget and send a copy of the transfer receipt to the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The above decision was made after the Ministry of Industry and Trade established a delegation to inspect the compliance with legal regulations on petroleum trading in 2023 of 4 petroleum wholesalers.
