German "giant" in polyurethane (PU) manufacturing industry sets up first factory in Vietnam

With strong growth prospects and increasing market demand in Southeast Asia for products made from polyurethane (PU), pre-polymer and polyester resin materials, Pearl Group has chosen Vietnam as the production hub for all its business activities in Southeast Asia.

This morning (October 10), the group established its first factory in An Phuoc Industrial Park, An Phuoc commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.

This place is considered one of the locations with convenient traffic connections, bordering Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau. The geographical location of the factory is only 8km from Long Thanh airport and 45km from Cai Mep - Thi Vai international deep-water port cluster (Ba Ria Vung Tau).

This has greatly facilitated domestic supply and export activities, thereby providing abundant supply to the entire Asia-Pacific region.

The plant has strengths in advanced blending as well as prepolymer production, capable of producing a wide range of polyol formulations, catering to the growing demand in industries such as construction, home appliances, sheet metal, footwear, flexible packaging and polyurea.

According to Mr. Martin Kruczinna, CEO of Pearl Group, Vietnam's dynamic business environment, along with its strategic location and preferential policies for businesses, make Vietnam an ideal location to access neighboring markets such as Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia, with the potential to supply South Korea and Japan in the future.

It is known that after Pearl Group opened its fourth factory in Saudi Arabia in November 2023, the establishment of this factory in Vietnam further strengthens the company's global expansion strategy.

The factory in Vietnam is expected to become a bridge for customers (with demand for PU materials) in India, shortening delivery time compared to China, Japan and Korea, and benefiting from the Free Trade Agreements – FTAs ​​of the two regions.
