Mr. Hoang Nam Tien leaves the position of Chairman of FPT Telecom

Mr. Hoang Nam Tien will not participate in the new Board of Directors for the 2023-2028 term of FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom). He was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of this enterprise since March 2020.

Leaving FPT Telecom, Mr. Tien took on a new role as Vice Chairman of the FPT University Council and in charge of the activities of the FSB Institute of Management and Technology since April 25. According to FPT, the above change is part of the group's program of planning, appointing and rotating senior leaders.

Mr. Tien joined FPT Corporation in 1993 and has held many leadership positions at the corporation such as Chairman of FPT Software Company Limited (2012-2020), General Director of FPT Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Development Company Limited (2007-2012), General Director of FPT Distribution Company Limited (2003-2008).

Replacing Mr. Tien as Chairman of FPT Telecom is General Director Hoang Viet Anh. Mr. Viet Anh is introduced to have been with the company for more than 5 years in the role of CEO. Currently, Mr. Viet Anh also holds the position of Deputy General Director of FPT Corporation and Chairman of FPT Digital Transformation Consulting Company.

FPT Telecom also appointed Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh to the position of General Director. Mr. Linh is Deputy General Director and has been with the company for more than 15 years, holding many management positions at all levels in the fields of finance and television. Most recently, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Linh took on the role of managing the entire mass customer business and customer service of FPT Telecom.
