India and China are two names mentioned when referring to Donald Trump's foreign trip in the first days of his second term as US President.

According to Live Mint , during Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar's visit to Washington late last month, the two sides had preliminary discussions about President Donald Trump's visit to New Delhi, which is likely to coincide with the Quad Summit.
The US and India are reportedly considering inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet the new US President at the White House this spring.
The 47th White House boss has also told his advisers that he wants to visit China within 100 days of taking office to discuss relations between the two countries. The decision to visit China came days after Donald Trump threatened to impose tariffs on the world's second largest economy, worsening relations between the two countries.
According to Chinese state news agencies, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng will attend Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20, to demonstrate a willingness to strengthen cooperation.
On January 17, Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke by phone, discussing issues including TikTok, trade and Taiwan.
Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said both leaders were optimistic about the call, with Donald Trump calling it “very good” and Xi Jinping saying they both hoped for a positive start to US-China relations.
