Reviewing the historical tradition, dedication and contributions of the People's Public Security force

The program was carried out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Central Security Department of the Southern Region (July 1960 - July 2025).

Attending the event were Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Politburo members: Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and many leaders and former leaders of central ministries, branches and localities.

Speaking at the program, General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, said that in the sacred land of Tay Ninh, the base of the Central Office for Southern Vietnam, with pride, emotion and deep gratitude, the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security solemnly organized the art program "Memories Left Behind" to honor and express gratitude for the great contributions of the army, people and Public Security forces in general (including the Southern Security Forces and Public Security officers supporting the Southern battlefield) in the resistance war against American imperialism, liberating the South, and unifying the country. General Luong Tam Quang emphasized that in the resistance war against American imperialism to save the country, the greatest achievement of the national liberation cause led by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, the People's Public Security forces in general, the Southern Security Forces and the Public Security officers supporting the Southern battlefield in particular have made great contributions. In every assigned position and task, in any difficult or dangerous circumstances, the Southern security forces and the Public Security officers supporting the Southern battlefields did not fear difficulties and hardships, were resilient, fought, bravely, and sacrificed themselves to achieve many feats and excellent achievements, fought and defeated the enemy's espionage and intelligence plans, pacification and repatriation activities, and protected the safety of the headquarters of the Central Office of the Southern Region... Those heroic contributions and sacrifices have embellished the glorious tradition of the heroic and immortal Vietnam People's Public Security along with the mountains, rivers, and country, continuing to write brilliant golden pages in the history of the nation. The Fatherland, the people, and generations of Public Security officers and soldiers will forever remember the contributions and sacrifices of the national heroes.

The art program “Memories Left Behind” is not only an art program, but also a profound gratitude to generations of People’s Public Security soldiers who sacrificed for the peace of the country. The program arouses national pride, connects history with the present, and looks to the future.
