Car deformed after hitting median strip of elevated Ring Road 2 in Hanoi

A car traveling at high speed suddenly crashed into the median strip of the elevated Ring Road 2 (section passing through Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi). After the accident, the car was deformed; 1 person was taken to the emergency room.

According to initial information, at around 2:41 p.m. on November 7, a car accident occurred on the elevated Ring Road 2 (section passing through the border area between Truong Dinh and Dong Tam wards, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi).

At the time of the accident, the car with license plate 30H-502.XX was traveling from Vinh Tuy Bridge - Nga Tu So. When the car reached the exit to Ring Road 2 - Nga Tu Vong, it suddenly crashed into the median strip.

The strong collision caused the car to be thrown, hit the median strip and spin across the road.

It is known that the driver of the car was taken out by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hai Ba Trung District Police and handed over to the medical team to be taken to Hanoi Medical University Hospital for emergency treatment.

At the scene, the car was completely deformed, with many pieces of debris scattered all over the road. The left front tire of the car was detached, the car door was deformed; many pieces of the car were still scattered on the road.

Upon receiving the news, the ward police force and Road Traffic Police Team No. 4 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) sent forces to protect the scene and handle the accident.

Due to the impact of the accident, Ring Road 2 was partially congested.

Currently, Traffic Police Team No. 4 is investigating the cause of the accident.
