After opening two new AI (artificial intelligence) and data centers, NVIDIA is recruiting a series of Vietnamese personnel from test engineers to senior production managers.
On December 5, the Vietnamese Government and NVIDIA signed an agreement to establish the Vietnam Research and Development Center (VRDC) and the AI Data Center. This is an important milestone, demonstrating CEO Jensen Huang's determination and strong commitment to turning Vietnam into "NVIDIA's second home".

NVIDIA is constantly looking for Vietnamese talent.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, the domestic technology community discovered that NVIDIA was also recruiting a series of personnel in Vietnam, with many important positions. On the LinkedIn recruitment page, NVIDIA continuously added new positions, most recently on December 8, the company posted a recruitment for a Senior Test Engineer, working full-time. In addition to the specific requirements of the job, NVIDIA requires candidates to communicate well in English, have experience working on global-scale projects, and have a bachelor's, engineer's or master's degree or higher. According to data on LinkedIn, one day after posting the job, this position attracted 25 applicants. The company did not provide a specific salary on the recruitment platform.

In addition to engineering positions, NVIDIA is also recruiting senior leaders in factory planning and manufacturing operations. For the position of Vietnam Production Operations Team Leader, the company is looking for an experienced candidate who will lay the foundation for the Vietnamese workforce from the beginning. NVIDIA also emphasized that this position will ensure the company complies with laws, regulations and policies in Vietnam, focusing on health and safety standards for local employees. This person will also represent NVIDIA in Vietnam to manage budgets, resources, recruit personnel and lead local experts, and provide training support when necessary. The Vietnam Production Operations Team Leader position requires a total of 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on management. "If you are an ambitious, passionate leader who loves challenges and wants to start a breakthrough journey with NVIDIA in Vietnam - a rapidly growing manufacturing hub for the artificial intelligence industry - we would like to invite you to join us," NVIDIA wrote in the recruitment post.

Le Minh Thanh, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a software company in Ho Chi Minh City, said that NVIDIA's continuous addition of positions from test engineers to senior managers shows their increasingly clear presence in Vietnam, not just a matter of signing on paper. Mr. Thanh said that before officially establishing two new factories last week, NVIDIA had quietly posted many recruitment ads. "Their job requirements and descriptions are very detailed, a little higher than the average. Candidates must be experienced and have participated in international projects. However, these standards are not too difficult for Vietnamese engineers. What people care about is the salary and the difficulty of the assigned work," Mr. Thanh emphasized.

NVIDIA CEO talks about Vietnam's "superpower"

When asked why NVIDIA opened two new centers in Vietnam, CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that our country has many advantages, of which the biggest 'superpower' is family values and the emphasis on education. "Vietnamese people have excellent achievements in STEM fields, especially mathematics and science. This helps Vietnam become the second largest supplier of software engineers in the world - a fact that very few people know. With this potential, we believe that Vietnam is an ideal place for NVIDIA to develop R&D centers and build a strong AI ecosystem here," said Mr. Huang. NVIDIA CEO said that the company's biggest expectation from the cooperation with Vietnam is to attract excellent software engineers, researchers and AI engineers. At the same time, NVIDIA wants to promote a complete AI ecosystem with three core elements: advanced AI infrastructure, strong AI training programs at universities and the development of AI startups. "When these three elements are fully built, the 'flywheel' of innovation will spin strongly, bringing enormous value not only to Vietnam but also to the whole region," NVIDIA CEO affirmed.
