This investment was contributed by Shark Lien, Shark Hung Anh and Shark Erik. Currently, Trieu Vy's candle brand is still achieving good revenue. In 2022, Trieu Vy opened a store in Vinh Long City in parallel with selling scented candles on e-commerce platforms. Trieu Vy has just graduated with a degree in chemical engineering. Trieu Vy said that before recording the live capital raising with the "sharks", she will go through a preliminary round and present her startup project to the program's advisory board. I think this is a plus point when calling for capital that you can refer to and exploit", Zhao Wei shared. Trieu Vy said the biggest difficulty in the early days of business was finding raw materials that met the two criteria of quality and cost: “Because at that time I was still a student, my network of connections was not wide, so I had to find almost everything myself. After a period of persistently searching on groups and forums at home and abroad, I was able to connect with a number of suppliers. I convinced them with my own business startup story. And luckily, I was supported by reputable suppliers with a very small quantity of raw materials compared to their scale.”
