On May 27, Mr. Ngo Xuan Thap, Principal of Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School (Buon Ho town, Dak Lak province), said he was verifying the incident in which a female 7th grade student of the school was beaten by a group of students.

According to Mr. Thap, initially the female students said that one of them borrowed a shirt from a friend and was late in returning it. When the friend asked for the shirt back, the female student went to return it and a conflict arose, and she was surrounded and beaten.
"Today, the school will clarify the specific cause to report to the Department of Education and Training of Buon Ho town and handle it according to regulations," said Mr. Thap.
Previously, a clip was posted on social media recording a group of female students beating another female student on a deserted road in the Southeast urban area of Buon Ho town.
According to the images from the clip, a female student was thrown to the street, many other female students took turns pulling her hair and punching her in the face. In addition, a female student also used her helmet to repeatedly hit the victim in the head.
Seeing the incident, a female student stepped in to stop it, but another female student standing outside loudly cursed and asked her to go outside.
According to the victim’s parents, her daughter was beaten so much by a group of friends that her face was swollen. The group of female students beat up students at several secondary schools in Buon Ho town. A parent whose child participated came to apologize and asked the family to forgive them.
