The novel Magic Runs Wild written in English by Nguyen Khanh Chi (grade 6, Dewey International School, Hanoi) has just been published globally by Ukiyoto Publishing House in Canada, conveying the message of friendship and kindness of Vietnamese female students to teenagers around the world .

The book Magic Runs Wild, which is over 100 pages thick, is also co-published on other international book distribution channels such as: Google book, Library wala. The novel revolves around a school of fairies, where students are divided into different houses according to their magical abilities: Water, Fire, Nature, Ice, Darkness and Light.

The two main characters, Lysandra and Isadora, are new students and are chosen to attend the Light House. The two quickly become close friends and experience many conflicts with other students during their studies. When the school encounters an incident, Lysandra and Isadora defy the rules and use all their abilities to protect the safety of the school.

Sharing about her love of writing, Nguyen Khanh Chi said: I was inspired by my love for magical stories, especially Harry Potter. That sparked my imagination. I wanted to create a world of my own, where magic runs freely and characters face interesting challenges. The process of building that world and developing the characters motivated me to continue writing and bring Magic Runs Wild to life.

Through the novel Magic Runs Wild, Nguyen Khanh Chi wants to convey the message of friendship and kindness to teenagers around the world.

Talking about the message sent to teenagers around the world through the novel Magic Runs Wild, a 6th grader from Hanoi shared: I want to show readers that, even when we have special talents or face great challenges, what really matters is how we use our strengths to help others and be true to ourselves. It is about maturity, friendship and the importance of kindness. It also shows the importance of friendship and courage in difficult times.

Writing a novel of more than 100 pages, for a sixth-grade girl, has many difficulties. "A big advantage is that I have a lot of creative ideas and energy to put into my story. But I also face some challenges, such as being stuck when I don't know what to write next. When that happens, I will rest, do something fun or watch a movie," Nguyen Khanh Chi shared.

Happy and proud of her first novel, the Dewey International School student hopes that readers will find interesting things from the book. "I want readers to enjoy the adventure and feel connected to the characters' journey. I am thinking of publishing my book in Vietnamese because I want readers in Vietnam to have the opportunity to enjoy it."
