(Dan Tri) - This November, Sophia Park (17 years old) passed the bar exam and became the youngest person to ever pass this exam in the state of California, USA.
Sophia Park broke her brother's record. Peter Park passed the California bar exam in November 2023 at the age of 17 years and 11 months. Sophia recently passed the exam at the age of 17 years and 8 months. Sophia will now work at the Tulare County District Attorney's Office in California, USA, alongside her brother.
Sharing about her astonishing achievement, Sophia told the American media: "I don't think the bar exam is too difficult. The hardest thing is probably that you have to review a huge amount of knowledge in a short period of time right before the exam."

Sophia graduated from Northwestern University of California (USA) law school this year. She decided to immediately take the California state bar exam so she could officially work as a qualified lawyer.
Sophia became interested in law after attending a career guidance program in sixth grade. Her career guidance teacher encouraged her to consider pursuing law as she had many of the right qualities.
In 2020, at the age of 13, Sophia had an impressive academic record and was soon accepted into Northwestern University's law school. She attended both high school and law school at the same time. For her, it was quite a difficult time, because studying in high school also required her to invest a lot of time and effort.
At age 16, Sophia was hired as an intern at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office and as a judicial assistant at the Tulare County District Attorney's Office. Sophia will officially become a prosecutor after turning 18 in March 2025.

Sharing about the job she chose, Sophia said: "I want to be a prosecutor because I want to represent the people of the state of California, contribute to keeping the community a safer living environment, and ensure the fairness of the law is enforced in the state."
Sophia's 14-year-old sister, Sarah, is also in her second year of law school. Her 8-year-old brother also wants to pursue law like his siblings.
Ms. Leah Wilson - executive director of the California State Bar Examination - shared with the US media that passing this exam is a significant achievement in the career of any lawyer, but passing at the age of 17 is an exceptional achievement.

In the Park family, Sophia and her brother were the first to pursue law. Her father was an intellectual property registration specialist. Her mother was a baking teacher.
