Nhi considers herself to be a person who can handle pressure quite well and always sets clear goals as well as defines a direction and is determined to pursue in order to achieve that goal.

Ever since entering grade 10 at Kim Lien High School, Nhi has wanted to further develop her Union activities, especially boldly setting the goal of becoming Deputy Secretary of the School Union.

“When I wrote the application to join the School Youth Union Executive Committee, my only goal at that time was to become the Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union. That year, I worked hard and tried my best,” Nhi said.

During her 10th grade probationary year, Nhi participated in all activities as a team leader or advisor to everyone. With the desire to become the Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union, Nhi determined that she needed to increase her "recognition" with everyone.

“I show up more at school by participating in the activities of the School Youth Union Executive Committee as an advisor or group leader so that people can recognize me more. I also try to participate in the school's major activities and programs,...

I use my dancing ability to participate more in art performances; dance clubs. At the same time, I try to increase my recognition in terms of studying while maintaining a good score result.

At the end of grade 10, Bao Nhi was recognized by the school. Therefore, by grade 11, when mentioning Bao Nhi, teachers and friends were no longer strangers. Bao Nhi became Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of Kim Lien High School for the 2022-2023 school year with the recognition and support of teachers and friends.

After her term ended, Bao Nhi continued to serve as an advisor to the School Youth Union. Commenting on her student, Ms. Lai Thi Phuong Mai, the homeroom teacher and also the Literature teacher of class 12A11, assessed Bao Nhi as a very excellent student.

“Bao Nhi has done many wonderful things beyond the teachers’ expectations. When she first entered 10th grade, I asked her to be the class monitor, and she immediately accepted. Nhi has gained more and more trust from her teachers and the class. Bao Nhi is especially good at studying all subjects and all subject teachers praise her. When assigning her work in class and at school, the teachers trust her,” said Ms. Mai.

At work, Bao Nhi is very serious and responsible. “In the role of Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union, in grade 11, Bao Nhi had to “take the lead” in many tasks of the school, but she completed them all. In the Youth Union, she was very active but did not neglect her studies. She was even always the top student in terms of academic results in the class with very high scores,” Ms. Mai shared.

While actively participating in the Youth Union movement and maintaining impressive grades, Bao Nhi admits that there are times when she feels a bit stressed. To balance her time between studying and participating in extracurricular activities, Bao Nhi tries to arrange a scientific schedule.

Nhi said that she tries to focus and grasp the knowledge right in class so that she doesn’t have to spend a lot of time studying again during the day and can spend that time on other tasks. “Because of focusing on listening to lectures and absorbing knowledge in class, when I go home and review the keywords or notes that I have written, I can grasp the lesson firmly.”

Nhi said that for her, work is also entertainment. “When I have free time or am too stressed, I often jog or listen to music. But I usually spend more of my vacation time in the summer, and during the school year, I always comfortably “entertain” myself by working,” Nhi shared.

Bao Nhi said that the honor of being admitted to the Party while still a student was a beautiful milestone in her life. In the near future, Bao Nhi plans to study Law at university. However, for now, she will focus on completing her high school program, especially the upcoming high school graduation exam.

On the morning of March 25, Kim Lien High School held a Party membership admission ceremony for 7 outstanding students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Principal of Kim Lien High School, said that the 7 new Party members are excellent students with excellent academic achievements and good moral and character training. In addition to studying, they are active participants in the Youth Union and school and class activities.

“This is also an event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the school’s founding (1974-2024),” said Ms. Hien.
