This morning, April 20, Mr. Phan Van Thanh - Vice Chairman of Que Xuan 1 Commune People's Committee said that the local police force had just returned the property to Ms. Huynh Thi Mai (born in 1970, Duy Thanh Commune, Duy Xuyen District) that she had dropped at Ba Ren Market area.

According to Mr. Thanh, on the morning of April 17, Que Xuan 1 Commune Police received a black handbag picked up by Ms. Huynh Thi Thu (born in 1971, Ba Ren village, Que Xuan 1 commune) at Ba Ren market area.

The police inspected and found a Samsung phone, a wallet containing more than 5.7 million VND and many types of documents inside the bag.

Que Xuan 1 Commune Police quickly verified and contacted Ms. Huynh Thi Mai, the owner of the above property, to come to the police station to receive it back.

Mr. Phan Van Thanh added that Ms. Huynh Thi Thu - the person who found the above assets is a poor household in the locality. Every day, Ms. Thu works as a janitor at Ba Ren market to earn money to raise her two children.
