Quang Kim Investment and Development Joint Stock Company has just sent a report to the Securities Commission on becoming a group of investors holding 5% or more of shares at VIB.

In a report sent to the Securities Commission, Quang Kim Development Investment Joint Stock Company said it had purchased 17.2 million VIB shares of the International Commercial Joint Stock Bank - VIB.
The transaction date mentioned above took place on November 11.
Before this transaction, Quang Kim Company did not own any VIB shares. After the successful transaction, Quang Kim's ownership ratio at the bank chaired by Mr. Dang Khac Vy increased to 0.577%.
Notably, the number and percentage of shares of Quang Kim's related persons at VIB is up to more than 275.8 million shares, equivalent to a ratio of 9.258%.
If including the shares just owned by Quang Kim, the total ownership ratio of this enterprise and related parties at VIB is up to 9.836%.
According to data on the national business registration information portal, Quang Kim Development Investment Joint Stock Company (Quang Kim JSC) was newly established on May 23, 2024, with its main business being food trading, headquartered at 25 Ly Thuong Kiet, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi. The legal representative is Ms. Do Xuan Ha.
On the stock market, VIB's market price ended on November 11 at VND18,200/share, down nearly 5% after a month but up more than 15% after a year.
With this price, it is estimated that Ms. Do Xuan Ha's company has spent more than 310 billion VND to hold VIB's capital.
VIB's 6-month 2024 management report said that Ms. Do Xuan Ha is the younger sister of Mr. Do Xuan Hoang - a member of the Board of Directors of VIB. At Quang Kim JSC, Mr. Do Xuan Thu, Mr. Hoang's father, is the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The list of shareholders owning more than 1% of the bank's capital announced by VIB in August this year shows that Mr. Do Xuan Hoang and many other family members have shares in this bank.
Of which, Mr. Hoang holds more than 125.5 million VIB shares, equivalent to 4.949%. Mr. Thu holds more than 32.8 million shares, equivalent to 1.277%.
While Mr. Hoang's wife does not hold any shares, his three children, Do Thu Giang, Do Xuan Son, and Do Xuan Viet, hold a total of more than 71.86 million shares.
Two more shareholders have just appeared on the list of shareholders holding over 1% of VIB's capital.
Recently, VIB's information disclosure section has continuously updated changes in shareholders. In the announcement on November 12, VIB also announced that Ms. Hoang Van Anh has just appeared in the list of shareholders owning 1% or more of VIB's charter capital.
Specifically, Ms. Van Anh holds more than 91.5 million VIB shares, equivalent to more than 3% of the bank's capital. The number of shares held by people related to Ms. Van Anh is more than 0.2% of VIB's capital.
Previously, this list also updated that Ms. Nguyen Thuy Nga holds more than 83.7 million shares, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 2.811%. People related to Ms. Nga hold more than 4% of the bank's capital.
Regarding VIB's recent stock fluctuations, the session on October 29 recorded foreign investors selling VIB shares with a total value of more than VND 5,400 billion.
In September 2024, VIB shares were also sold by foreign investors for nearly VND 2,700 billion.
Previously, at the 2024 extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held in June, VIB shareholders approved the proposal to reduce the foreign ownership ratio from 20.5% to 4.99%. The charter takes effect from July 1, 2024.
