To effectively implement this work, the City People's Committee has closely followed the leadership and direction of the City Party Committee, issued many directives to the People's Committees of communes and wards, coordinated with the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to promote propaganda and mobilize the participation of all strata of the people, and implemented many specific solutions and actions appropriate to the actual situation. As a result, many positive achievements have been made.
In addition to comprehensively managing urban planning to ensure a legal basis for effective management of construction order and gradual urban beautification, the city is also promoting investment attraction to improve technical infrastructure; strengthening state management of environmental protection. Simultaneously, it is promoting social mobilization, calling on and encouraging organizations and individuals to support the government with funding, seeds, and labor to develop urban green spaces and flower gardens. The city is also focusing on effectively managing, operating, and dredging the drainage system, promptly addressing localized flooding on main roads; strengthening inspection and enforcement, strictly handling violations related to the environment, illegal logging, urban order, encroachment on roads and sidewalks; and regularly organizing campaigns to collect and address the issue of beggars, homeless people, and those with mental illnesses.

In addition, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have always effectively played their role in gathering and mobilizing a large number of people to actively participate in models and activities such as planting trees, protecting the environment, maintaining urban security and order, and competing to build a cultural life in residential areas. Environmental sanitation and waste collection work continues to be maintained in all 16 wards and communes on 39 roads. Street sweeping was carried out on 43 roads and the premises of 4 agencies; roads were watered and washed on 8 roads; all 115 villages and neighborhoods use the non-contact waste collection model. The rate of household waste collection in urban areas reached 99%; 100% of waste from the Binh Son - Ninh Chu beach tourist areas and sites was collected and processed; 100% of hazardous industrial waste and medical waste were controlled and processed according to regulations. Comrade Nguyen Hoai Nam added: Continuing to build Phan Rang - Thap Cham into an increasingly spacious, civilized, and modern city, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee recently issued Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU dated January 18, 2023, on building Phan Rang - Thap Cham into a "bright, green, clean, beautiful, and civilized" city, for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. Thus, in addition to "green, clean, and beautiful," the city is focusing on implementing the "bright and beautiful" criterion. In the immediate future, the goal is to achieve by 2025: urban green space area of 10 m2/person; public green space area in the inner city reaching 6 m2/person; 90% of alleys illuminated; 100% of households using clean water; and 98.5% of urban solid waste collected and processed according to regulations to meet environmental protection requirements. 100% of hazardous waste and medical waste are collected and treated to meet environmental protection requirements; 30% of total urban wastewater is collected and treated to meet standards...
