NTO - The monitoring delegation of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee worked with Phan Rang City Police.

On August 9, the thematic supervision delegation of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee on crime prevention and control and drug abuse in the province from 2020 to May 2023 had a working session with the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Police.

In recent times, Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Police have focused on leading and directing the police of 16 wards, communes, and related professional teams to synchronously deploy measures and solutions to prevent and combat crimes and environmental evils. The city police have actively coordinated to promote propaganda to raise awareness, responsibility, and understanding of all classes of people about the harmful effects of environmental evils, detect and denounce environmental crimes; pay attention to building and consolidating models of mass self-management of security and order, and management of addicts in the community. In addition, they have done a good job of advising Party committees and authorities at all levels on the prevention and combat of environmental crimes and evils; coordinated with the Procuracy and the Court in the process of investigating, prosecuting, and promptly and strictly trying violations before the law, thereby curbing the increase of environmental crimes and evils, contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety in the locality.

Through the work, the Supervisory Delegation highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City in the past time; requested the City Police to continue to review and evaluate the achievements, difficulties and limitations, on that basis, propose more effective solutions for the prevention and control of crimes and environmental evils in the coming time. In particular, focusing on the work of advising and coordinating with Party committees, authorities, front organizations and mass organizations to promote propaganda in appropriate forms; mobilizing all classes of people to actively participate in the movement of the whole people to protect national security in general and prevent and control crimes and environmental evils in particular. Strengthening the mobilization and sending subjects to compulsory drug rehabilitation; managing well the subjects after drug rehabilitation... contributing to ensuring security, order and social safety in the locality.
