This is the first collection of designer Huu Anh Zoner launched in the international market after many years of studying and working in Germany. The designs are inspired by the beauty of the ocean combined with the traditional cultural beauty of Vietnam such as conical hats, non ba tam hats, woven bamboo and rattan bags, and Dong Ho paintings.

The designer wants to convey a message about raising awareness of protecting the marine environment in particular and the living environment in general. To do this, he reused fashion products and natural silk fabrics, materials that are safe and environmentally friendly.

Huu Anh aims for sustainable fashion because it is an inevitable trend of the future. He uses safe, biodegradable or reusable materials in his clothing designs.

"As a fashion designer, I think I have to take action, hoping to somehow contribute to building awareness of environmental protection," he said.

Showcasing a collection at an international fashion event brings many challenges and difficulties for the designer. Unlike in Vietnam, where he has teammates and a support team, organizing a show abroad, most of the work is done by him alone. However, this is also an opportunity for the 9x guy to challenge himself and gain more experience.

Two Vietnamese child models, Ella Bui and Ivy Nguyen, also appeared in the show.

“I have mixed feelings for my first show in France. I am happy and excited to be welcomed by fashionistas here and to be followed, supported and encouraged by friends in the country.

Although it was just a small collection, the show marked an important milestone in my career. With those feelings, I have more motivation and energy, believing in the path I am on,” the designer said.

Designer Huu Anh Zoner's real name is Nguyen Huu Anh, born in 1991. He started his design career in 2009. He graduated from the fashion design course at AMD Akademie Mode & Design Berlin, graduated from the professional stylist course at London College of Fashion, and graduated as valedictorian from Hanoi Open University, majoring in Fashion Design.
