Designer Tra Linh recycles plastic into high-end wedding dresses, shows in China

Designer Tra Linh's second fashion collection to be shown in China in 2024 was recently launched at Rosewood Hotel Sanya (Hainan Island, China), within the framework of Sanya Bridal Fashion Week .

Before A Drop In The Ocean , the 9X designer introduced the Camélia collection in China in August 2024.

The collection includes 35 designs inspired by images of butterflies on land and the beauty of the vast ocean.

The designs reflect the house's new fashion thinking, expressed through the shape, details, materials and colors of each outfit.

Not only is the A Drop In The Ocean collection valued for its subtle moments, transformation and connection, it also reflects the ideas of individuality and collective contribution. It represents sustainability and mindfulness, encouraging people to realize the impact of every choice they make, no matter how small, on the ecological and social fabric of the world.

"Each design is a unique 'Drop', a highlight that resonates to create a charming and vibrant 'The Ocean'", Tra Linh shared.

The Vietnamese fashion house's outfits are inspired by nature, the nuances of the ocean, evoking the movement and texture of water through shapes and materials.

The sophisticated designs show that the fashion house has a perfectionist aesthetic mindset, sophisticated tailoring techniques based on a profound knowledge of women's bodies.

The collection opens up creativity linked to nature and conservation awareness when a team of more than 20 people including designers and craftsmen choose to use recycled plastic materials and transform them through many different techniques.

In addition, other high-quality materials such as tulle, brocade, cotton silk, metallic, sequins, swarovski... are also selected and adjusted to combine to ensure perfection in each design. Each dress is a unique handmade product.

The designer said Tralinh is the third fashion brand she founded, after Hacchic Couture and Hacchic Blush.

The feminist message is expressed through the lines and colors of the costumes to depict the beauty in the spirit and the delicate and determined character of Asian women.
