The productivity of coffee using high technology is 10-30% higher than that of conventional coffee. Coffee beans are stamped with traceability stamps, registered with growing area codes and registered to protect product brands, increasing product value. In addition to the main crop of coffee, farmers in Dak Mil district apply high technology to many other production models.

A typical example is the melon farm model of Mr. Nguyen The Do (born in 1982) in Dak Gan commune, Dak Mil district. Pursuing high-tech agriculture, in 2017, Mr. Nguyen The Do invested in building a greenhouse and growing melons in a net house. The melon farm has created a good income for his family.

Mr. Do shared: Growing melons in greenhouses helps reduce care and costs, reduces pest attacks and does not use pesticides. Applying technology to production and plant care, each month the melon farm harvests 2-3 tons of fruit, selling for 50,000 VND/kg. After deducting expenses each year, he earns 200-300 million VND, his family's life is increasingly improved.

Currently, in the district, there are 14 OCOP products certified by the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee and the district as OCOP products with 3-4 stars (12 products with 3 stars and 2 products with 4 stars). The district has also established 2 high-tech agricultural areas: Thuan An Coffee (335ha) and Dak Gan Mango area (300ha).
