Coach Kim Sang-sik will face Ruben Amorim
The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) has announced that coach Kim Sang-sik, the strategist of the Vietnamese national team, will lead the "ASEAN All-Stars" team at the Maybank Challenge Cup. This is a historic international friendly match with Manchester United (MU), scheduled to take place on May 28 at Bukit Jalil Stadium, Malaysia.
This is more than just a football match, it is a celebration of leadership, regional pride and unity through sport.
Coach Kim Sang-sik's ability is confirmed by his integrity, discipline and vision. After winning the AFF Cup 2024 with the Vietnamese team with 8 unbeaten matches, his appointment to lead the ASEAN All-Stars team is a testament to the excellence and trust he has built in the football community after only 6 months of leading the Vietnamese team.
