Currently, several specialized vegetable production areas linked to product consumption have been established in the province, including the districts of Bao Thang, Bat Xat, Bac Ha, the town of Sa Pa, and the city of Lao Cai .

Vegetable prices are fairly stable and sales are going well.

The main areas for off-season vegetable production are concentrated in the districts of Bat Xat, Bac Ha, Si Ma Cai, Muong Khuong, and Lao Cai city, covering approximately 900 hectares and yielding nearly 20,000 tons.

Vegetable prices are relatively stable and sales are favorable, because in addition to meeting the needs of the local market, a large quantity of vegetables is also supplied to neighboring provinces.
