These days, in all the pineapple fields in Ha Trung, Bim Son, and Thach Thanh districts (Thanh Hoa province), farmers are excited about pineapples. This year, the crop is good and the price of pineapples is high.

In the pineapple fields, many farmers from Thach Thanh and Cam Thuy districts... go in groups of 10 to 15 people to pick and load pineapples onto cars.

Although the work is hard, in return men can earn 500,000 - 700,000 VND per day, women earn about 300,000 VND.

According to the Thanh Hoa Toan Provincial Department of Cultivation, the province currently has 3,200 hectares of pineapple, of which 1,300 hectares belong to forestry farms and associated enterprises, the rest are grown by households themselves.

Currently, Thanh Hoa people are growing two main pineapple varieties: Queen pineapple and Cayenne pineapple. Queen pineapple is mainly grown in Bim Son town and Ha Trung district.

This year, according to pineapple growers, the price of pineapple is around 8,000 VND/kg. After deducting all expenses, people earn about 200 million VND per hectare of pineapple.

According to people's assessment, this year pineapple trees have high productivity, large and beautiful fruits, each main-season pineapple weighs from 0.8 to 1.4 kg. Pineapple harvest is good and prices are high, so pineapple farmers are very excited this year.

Thanks to growing pineapple trees with high productivity and stable output, for many years, thousands of households in Thanh Hoa have had a comfortable life and stable income.

Thanks to the shirts, which are equipped with fans, porters are less tired when carrying baskets of pineapples weighing nearly 100kg.

Currently, Ha Long Commune, Ha Trung District has the largest pineapple area in Thanh Hoa province with a total area of ​​about 650 hectares.
