Farmers "join hands" to link agricultural production
Instead of doing things on their own like before, by participating in the Intensive Cattle Breeding Professional Association, farmer members in Hoa Son Commune, Krong Bong District have worked together to find outlets for their products, help each other expand their scale, increase the number of cattle herds; at the same time, they regularly share experiences in selecting breeds, care techniques, disease prevention, etc.
Up to now, the Intensive Cattle Breeding Association has linked 22 members to participate, maintaining a herd of nearly 200 cows. The association in livestock breeding has helped members increase their income and feel secure in developing production...
Mr. Truong Van Thanh, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Hoa Son Commune, Krong Bong District, shared: "Participating in the intensive cattle farming association, members support each other a lot, especially in finding outlets for products. Through the connection and sharing of members, products have been purchased directly by traders and household businesses inside and outside the area. Doing business effectively, many households have boldly expanded their livestock scale, some households have developed a herd of up to 20-30 cows, many households have an income of over 150 million VND/year".

Similarly, with the mobilization and support of the Ea Sup District Farmers' Association, in early 2024, the "Farmers producing and trading safe agricultural products and food" Club in Ea Bung commune was established with 10 members. The members are those who directly participate in production, cultivation and animal husbandry.
After establishment, the model members were trained by the District Farmers' Association and instructed on how to produce according to safe processes, strictly follow regulations on the use of pesticides, veterinary drugs, chemicals, additives, etc.; link to form specialized production areas, find output for products, etc.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duc, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Ea Bung Commune, Ea Sup District, assessed that the "Farmers producing and trading safe agricultural products and food" Club has initially brought positive results when orienting safe production methods, suitable for local climate, weather and soil conditions; linking production and consumption of safe agricultural products and food, orienting product output... for members.
This is the model chosen by the Ea Sup District Farmers' Association as a pilot model to replicate in Association bases in the district.

Through collective economic models to link agricultural production, farmers have initially formed a production mindset according to the value chain. Thereby contributing to the transformation of crop and livestock structure towards commodity production, expanding scale, promoting the application of science and technology, improving productivity, quality and product value.
"The fact that Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have promoted the implementation of projects and tasks to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024) has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere.
These are meaningful activities, affirming the role of the Farmers' Association in local socio-economic development, improving people's lives and building the province to develop more and more," said Mr. Ya Toan E Nuol, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Dak Lak province.
