Farmers surprised and impressed with the Xam song honoring outstanding Vietnamese farmers of 2024

Very surprised, proud

For the first time coming to the capital to attend the series of programs Proud of Vietnamese Farmers, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bien, an excellent Vietnamese farmer 2024 in Quang Trung village, Hoang Thanh commune, Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, said that she felt very honored and proud to participate in the "big festival" of farmers. Since coming to the capital, she has met many farmers from different regions, talked and shared business experiences, she realized that she has learned many new and useful things.

Talking about what impressed her most, Ms. Bien said: I was very surprised and impressed with the theme of this year's National Farmers' Forum, a very new theme but very close and simple to farmers: Listening to farmers speak.

Through the forum, we were able to share our thoughts and express many wishes to the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the head of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union.

"I feel that the questions from farmers this year at the forum are very topical and the answers from Minister Le Minh Hoan and Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Association Luong Quoc Doan are also very clear, distinct and sincere, from macro policies to solving difficulties for farmers in production and livestock farming specifically and closely following reality," Ms. Bien commented.

According to Ms. Bien, after the forum ended, she and the people and representatives of the participating cooperatives all felt very satisfied and assured about the solutions that the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Vietnam Farmers' Union proposed to help farmers.

"We hope that in the future there will be more forums like this, so that farmers across the country have the opportunity to present their opinions, share experiences and contribute to the overall development of Vietnam's agricultural sector," she suggested.

Mr. Vu Van Chien, Director of Chien Thang Aquaculture Cooperative from Kieu Luong village, Duc Long commune, Que Vo district, Bac Ninh province said: "When I and the members of the cooperative went to Hanoi, everyone was warmly welcomed, from accommodation to transportation, everything was thoughtful and safe.

After many years of working hard, this time in the capital, we were honored and cared for by the program's Organizing Committee, and met high-ranking leaders... we feel very proud and happy."

Mr. Vu Van Chien also expressed his hope that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union will organize more forums to create conditions for farmers to express their thoughts and aspirations and together find solutions for sustainable agricultural development.

"I hope that farmers' voices will be heard not only in major events, but also throughout agricultural development policies. Only then can we feel secure in producing and doing business on a larger scale," Mr. Chien confided.

For his part, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Thai Binh province, who has a pig farm combined with growing plants and extracting rosemary essential oil, was extremely surprised when his name and model were included in the song and the singer sang it very well, lively and meaningfully.

"I and the other delegates were very surprised and impressed when we first heard and saw the singer sing a song praising us. After the "big festival", today everyone has returned to their hometowns and returned to their daily work, but we still feel very excited and proud. We promise to try to do better, produce better to be worthy of the title we have just achieved", Mr. Thang shared.

Promise to link up for bigger business

Speaking to PV of Dan Viet Newspaper, Mr. Tran Anh Nhan, Nhon My commune, Ke Sach district, Soc Trang province, one of the 63 outstanding Vietnamese Farmers of 2024, expressed his great joy when his contributions were recognized by local authorities and especially the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union.

Mr. Nhan said that during his 2 days in Hanoi, he had met many excellent farmers from all regions of the country. Through their stories and confessions, he was known and praised by many farmers for his method of growing mutant star apples that bear fruit all year round, so he felt very proud.

"I and many farmers from different regions across the country asked for each other's phone numbers and promised to meet after the ceremony to exchange and link production and product consumption," Mr. Nhan revealed.

As one of the oldest farmer delegates in the 63rd NDVNXS 2024 delegation, delegate Nguyen Huu Anh, a billionaire eel farmer - a specialty fish in Tan Thanh ward, Ca Mau city (nearly 70 years old) excitedly said, this business trip to the capital is very special. We are not only honored and recognized by the state but also get to interact and meet many "super" farmers.

From the suggestion of Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan in the National Farmers Forum: Fish farmers who want to get rich sustainably must increase processing. From the story of processing by product segment of snakehead fish farmers in Dong Thap into products such as heads, cheeks, loins... has helped people get rich quickly.

Mr. Anh said: In this delegation to the Capital, I also "caught the wave" with several colleagues who raise fish in other provinces and cities. We have been planning to cooperate to expand production, breeding and product processing.

Mr. Dinh Van Thuan, an outstanding Vietnamese farmer 2024 in Hai Hau (Nam Dinh) said: This is the first time I have been to Hanoi to attend the ceremony to honor outstanding Vietnamese farmers 2024, so I am very proud and happy.

In addition, we also brought many other essential units to introduce and promote at the event, but unexpectedly, the unit's products sold very well. Many delegates even placed orders after returning, which made me very happy.
