Heated competitions at the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Pickleball Tournament 2025

With the theme "50 years of national reunification", the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Pickleball Tournament 2025 took place on April 19 and 20, an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification and the 50th anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper.

Ms. Ly Viet Trung, Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper, spoke at the opening ceremony.

The tournament is an opportunity for athletes - who are officials, civil servants, employees, workers, especially women - to exchange, learn, improve their health and professional qualifications, thereby promoting the development of the pickleball training movement nationwide and strengthening the family ties of the athletes.

Women's doubles players

In addition to the events that were enthusiastically responded to by athletes in the first edition in 2024 such as: women's doubles 4.5, women's doubles 6.0, mother-daughter doubles or husband and wife doubles, this year's tournament, the Organizing Committee added more competitions for celebrity doubles, father-son doubles, civil servant doubles, civil servant male doubles and civil servant female doubles.

Fierce competition

Within the framework of the tournament, the Organizing Committee decided to allocate part of the budget to support the Para Pickleball Club for the disabled and 30 female youth volunteers with difficult circumstances who participated in route 1C.
