According to the Bangkok Post , the list of Cabinet members, published in the Royal Gazette, in addition to Prime Minister Paetongtarn, includes 35 other members, including 6 Deputy Prime Ministers.

These Deputy Prime Ministers all hold other positions concurrently, specifically, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai concurrently holds the position of Minister of Defense; Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit concurrently holds the position of Minister of Transport; Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul concurrently holds the position of Minister of Interior;

Mr. Pirapan Salirathavibhaga is concurrently Minister of Energy; Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira is concurrently Minister of Finance; and Mr. Prasert Jantararuangtong is concurrently Minister of Digital Economy and Society .

The notable change is that Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai takes over the role of Defense Minister while handing over the Commerce Ministry to former Energy Minister Pichai Naripthaphan. This signals a strategic reorganization within the government , aimed at promoting both domestic and international activities.

Of the 35 cabinet positions, the ruling coalition's core Pheu Thai Party holds 17 key ministerial and deputy ministerial positions. The remaining 19 positions are allocated to coalition partners, promising a diverse and inclusive approach to governance.

After the new ministers are sworn in before the King, the new Cabinet will hold its first meeting to discuss the policy statement, which is expected to be announced to parliament, between September 11 and 13, sources said, according to the Bangkok Post .

Previously, on September 2, Thailand's acting Prime Minister Phumtham Wechayachai said that Ms. Paetongtarn's new cabinet will take office no later than September 15 because none of the nominees have problems with standards or professional qualifications.
