Mundo Deportivo reported that reserve goalkeeper Inaki Pena had separated himself from the rest of the team while coach Hansi Flick was speaking at the latest training session. Captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen had to intervene and pull Pena back closer to where Flick was standing.
The source also said that Pena was unhappy when he had to give up his starting position to Wojciech Szczesny, just because he violated the time when the team went to Saudi Arabia to play. Currently, Pena has returned to the position of third goalkeeper after Ter Stegen returned. The possibility of Pena having to leave Barcelona next summer is likely.
Before Pena, there were also signs of internal discord within Barcelona. The trio of Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati and Hector Fort were dissatisfied with the way coach Flick used his players.
Torres was unhappy when he was substituted early in the match against Celta Vigo on April 19. Meanwhile, Fati was spotted banging his hand on the bench when he was not used by Flick. Finally, there was Hector Fort, who refused to hug Flick during the victory over Celta Vigo.
Behind the explosive performances of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, there are signs of internal rifts within Barcelona. Mundo Deportivo is concerned that this factor could affect Barcelona's treble ambitions this season.
The Camp Nou team still has a chance to win La Liga, Champions League and King's Cup.
