“After the difficult years of the COVID-19 pandemic, through the outstanding efforts of the staff and agencies in the operational chain, Noi Bai International Airport has increased 31 ranks to continue to return to the top 100 best airports in the world in 2024, contributing to affirming the position and prestige of the important international gateway airport of Hanoi Capital in the eyes of passengers and international friends,” emphasized the leader of Noi Bai International Airport.
Similar to Noi Bai, Da Nang International Airport is also constantly striving to improve its infrastructure, add a series of amenities, improve service quality, and train and develop its staff to enhance passenger experience.
This airport always focuses on promoting Vietnamese culture, investing in installing miniature landscapes imbued with local identity, and incorporating traditional elements into performing arts such as the "Heritage Road" program.
Previously, on January 1, 2024, Da Nang International Passenger Terminal became the first and only terminal in Vietnam to be rated 5 stars according to Skytrax standards, after continuous efforts in improving facilities and enhancing passenger experience.
According to the results, the amenities highly appreciated by Skytrax include business class lounges, baby strollers, children's play areas, mother and baby rooms, shopping trolleys, prayer rooms, self-service check-in counters, self-service baggage drop-off counters, automatic immigration gates and automatic departure gates.
Da Nang International Airport was also in the "Top 10 most improved airports in the world" in 2020./.
The World Airport Awards began in 1999, when Skytrax conducted its first global airport customer satisfaction survey, which is considered a quality benchmark for airports worldwide, assessing customer service and facilities at more than 500 airports. There is no entry fee or any form of payment from an airport (or other third party) to be included in the survey or awards, with the survey and awards process being conducted entirely by Skytrax. Travelers from around the world participated in airport customer satisfaction surveys to decide the winners of the awards. |
