Efforts to support women entrepreneurs

In Binh Phuoc , the implementation of the project "Supporting women to start businesses" in the period of 2017-2025 has achieved many remarkable results. The associations at all levels have mobilized and supported 1,645 women to start businesses; consulted and supported the establishment of 15 cooperatives and 119 cooperative groups; guided and established 174 "Women's Start-up Product Consumption Stores"; coordinated the organization of 73 training sessions, vocational training, knowledge training, capacity building on business start-up, enterprise establishment, enterprise development... for more than 4,570 members, women and female business owners. The Provincial Women's Union has introduced and connected 25 women's households, production - business establishments, and female enterprises to register to participate in selling on the Binh Phuoc Provincial Agricultural Products Exchange.

In particular, the Women's Union at all levels actively encouraged members and women to participate in the contest and "Women's Entrepreneurship Day" organized by the Women's Union at all levels. As a result, 214 ideas were registered for the provincial contest, of which 63 ideas were selected for the central contest. 40 excellent ideas/projects were awarded and commended by the Provincial Women's Union; 15 projects were selected for the regional preliminary round and 3 projects entered the national final round with high prizes. These results show the positive effects of the project in improving the economic and social status of women in Binh Phuoc.

Representatives of departments, branches, units and localities discussed and gave opinions related to the organization, coordination and support of the project "Supporting women to start businesses" in the province.

For the period 2026-2035, the Binh Phuoc Women's Union aims to support the improvement of management, operation, e-commerce, digital transformation capacity... for 1,500 women who are business owners, cooperative managers, and business owners; provide consulting support and establish 100 women-owned enterprises; provide consulting and support for the establishment of 10 new cooperatives and 50 cooperative groups managed and operated by women; connect at least 550 women with preferential capital sources, start-up support funds...

At the seminar, representatives of departments, branches and units also contributed quality comments and exchanged with the Central delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union opinions related to the organization, coordination and support of project implementation in the province.
