Ninh Thuan: A series of commune officials were disciplined for allowing illegal construction in Vinh Hy Bay.

The People's Committee of Ninh Hai district ( Ninh Thuan province) has disciplined many officials of Vinh Hai commune, related to illegal construction in Vinh Hy bay area.

On January 2, information from the People's Committee of Ninh Hai district (Ninh Thuan province) said that it has clarified the responsibilities of collectives and individuals related to the inspection of construction, land, tourism and accommodation permits in Vinh Hy bay area.

After consideration, Ninh Hai District People's Committee has disciplined 1 case, warned 2 cases and drawn experience for 2 cases who are officials and civil servants of Vinh Hai Commune People's Committee.

Many illegal constructions in Vinh Hy Bay area (Ninh Thuan)

Previously, in November 2023, the inspection team of Ninh Hai District People's Committee discovered a series of hotels, homestays, floating restaurants, shops, etc. with many violations related to encroachment and illegal use of land in Vinh Hy Bay area. The authorities discovered 9 hotels, motels, and homestays with many violations. Of which, Chau Gia Hotel had constructed works that were not in accordance with the license and encroached on land; Lo O Homestay was illegally built in the road safety corridor;...

Up to now, the People's Committee of Ninh Hai district has assigned the Department of Economy and Infrastructure to inspect and establish records of violations of construction permits, establish acts of encroachment and land occupation, and carry out enforcement and force to remedy the consequences according to the law for illegal construction works.

At the same time, the District People's Committee has directed the Vinh Hai Commune People's Committee to strengthen inspection and management, and not allow seafood establishments Lang Chai, Homestay Santo, and Chanh Ranh to operate if they do not meet the prescribed conditions.
