Ninh Thuan 'joins hands' with Ho Chi Minh City to attract investment

The conference was attended by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Consulates General of countries in Ho Chi Minh City... especially about 150 enterprises and investors in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ninh Thuan wants to "attract" capital from Ho Chi Minh City

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam - Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee said that recently, the Government has issued a policy to implement a number of key national projects, aiming to promote the connection and development of Ninh Thuan with the central coastal provinces and the key economic region of the South.

Specifically, the project to add Thanh Son airport with a scale of level 4C, capacity of 1.5 million passengers/year to the Master Plan for the development of the national airport and seaport system in the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; the North-South high-speed railway and the North-South Eastern expressway (Cam Lam - Vinh Hao section) have been completed, shortening the travel time from Ninh Thuan to Ho Chi Minh City from 6-7 hours to 3-4 hours.

In addition, Ca Na general seaport has also been completed and put into operation with a 100,000-ton wharf, bringing important benefits, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province, while exploiting the potential and advantages, attracting investment in Ninh Thuan province.

In Ninh Thuan province, there are 3 Industrial Parks (IPs) that have been established (including: Thanh Hai, Du Long, Phuoc Nam IPs) with a total area of ​​855 hectares and Ca Na IP with a scale of 827 hectares, which is being submitted to the Prime Minister for approval of investment policy.

At the conference, the parties agreed to sign 13 memorandums of understanding (MOUs) to enhance exchange activities and share experiences in investment, trade, tourism and urban promotion; exchange of goods, cooperation in production and business, and human resource training.
