Ninh Binh to conduct mid-term population and housing census in 2024

As of 5:00 p.m. on April 2, Ninh Binh has conducted the 2024 mid-term population and housing census on 649/13,800 households.

According to information from the Provincial Statistics Office, on the morning of April 1, Ninh Binh province simultaneously launched information collection to serve the 2024 mid-term population and housing census in districts and cities.

In this survey, our province has a total of 460 survey areas, of which 280 survey areas are short-form survey areas and 180 survey areas are long-form survey areas with a total of 13,800 surveyed households. The whole province has 192 surveyors conducting the survey and collecting information at the survey area. The surveyors go to each household to fully record the households' answers on electronic forms designed on mobile phones.

The 2024 mid-term population and housing census is conducted to collect information on population and housing as a basis for assessing the implementation of the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the 2021-2025 period; developing policies, planning population and housing to serve the preparation of the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the 2026-2030 period.

As of 5:00 p.m. on April 2, Ninh Binh had completed the survey of 649/13,800 households, of which 320/8,400 households completed the short-form survey and 329/5,400 households completed the long-form survey.
