Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An are provinces with rich and diverse natural resources. Along with that are many valuable historical and cultural relics, famous scenic spots that have gained a place in the hearts of tourists.
However, tourism activities here are still "seasonal" in nature, not fully exploiting the potential strengths of the area.
Join hands to develop, eliminate the 'seasonal' nature
On April 10, these three localities held a conference to promote tourism "Nghe An - Thanh Hoa - Ninh Binh: Green tourism journey" to introduce their strengths and find solutions to develop sustainable green tourism.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vuong Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa - commented that Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An have many advantages to develop green tourism.
Each province has diverse tourism resources, many destinations of national and international significance such as the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, the Trang An - Bai Dinh complex (Ninh Binh), the Ho Dynasty - Lam Kinh citadel (Thanh Hoa), and the Kim Lien - Nam Dan relic site (Nghe An).

"Sustainable tourism and green tourism are becoming an inevitable trend globally, not only helping to protect the environment but also bringing long-term economic and social values.
The three localities have joined forces to build and promote unique and attractive tourism programs, with the messages "Nghe An - Green Journey", "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance", "Ninh Binh - The World's Leading Friendly Destination", Ms. Yen shared.
Chairman of the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club Truong Quoc Hung "suggested" that tourism needs to promote connections and linkages between cultural, spiritual, and natural sites into tours.
This will attract tourists to the locality all year round, breaking the "seasonal" nature. However, to do this, localities need to build specific mechanisms such as promoting tourism development.

Building green products, extending length of stay
Discussing how to build green tourism products, Ms. Ta Thi Tu Uyen - Director of Product and Service Department, Vietravel Tourism Company - suggested that localities should build digital tourism maps to introduce unique features of nature, culture, and history to tourists...
"Building a digital map not only promotes tourism images to tourists, but also creates conditions for businesses to build common tours for localities," Ms. Tu Uyen shared.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism - commented that green tourism is becoming a trend.
The Vietnam National Tourism Administration has also suggested many ways to create products, how to promote cultural and ecological values, and especially how these three localities will increase the experience in these journeys.
According to statistics, the number of visitors to the three provinces is not small, but the total revenue is still limited. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on the target and extend the length of stay.
To do so, localities need to have unique products, especially nighttime entertainment products and emotional activities.
