Ninh Binh welcomes more than half a million tourists during Tet

On February 15, information from the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism said that in 7 days (from the 29th to the 5th day of Tet), the tourism industry of Ninh Binh province welcomed 596,000 visitors (including more than 115,000 international visitors), an increase of 50.1% compared to the 2023 Tet holiday. Total revenue reached more than 850 billion VND.

During the 7-day Tet holiday, Ninh Binh tourism industry welcomed nearly 600,000 visitors.

Some tourist areas and spots in Ninh Binh that attract a large number of visitors are the ancient capital Hoa Lu with nearly 23,000 visitors, Tam Coc tourist area with nearly 25,000 visitors, Trang An tourist area with over 97,000 visitors, Bai Dinh pagoda with over 225,000 visitors, Hoa Lu ancient town with nearly 60,000 visitors, Thung Nham bird garden with over 65,000 visitors...

According to Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, this year's Tet holiday welcomed a large number of tourists but there was no jostling, pressuring, or asking for tips... at tourist attractions.

To attract tourists, Ninh Binh province has organized many activities and programs such as fireworks displays at 5 locations (Ninh Binh City, Tam Diep City, Hoa Lu District, Gia Vien District, Nho Quan District), the old Tet festival and the display of 80 food, beverage, and Tet flower stalls...

In addition, people and tourists can also experience the customs and cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people during spring through banh chung wrapping competitions, talk shows, and folk games.
