Ninh Binh has 2 cooperatives receiving the Cooperative Star Award in 2025

Representative of Gia Tuong Agricultural Cooperative received the title of Cooperative Star in 2025.

Ninh Binh province has 2 cooperatives awarded the Cooperative Star award this year: Sinh Duoc Cooperative, Gia Sinh commune (Gia Vien) and Gia Tuong agricultural cooperative (Nho Quan).

This is one of the activities of the Action Month for Cooperatives 2025 launched by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.

Sinh Duoc Cooperative specializes in producing products such as soaps and bath salts from traditional medicine recipes. With a closed value chain production model from the stage of creating raw material areas, harvesting, extracting essential oils, mixing and combining traditional folk remedies in the land of Sinh Duoc, creating products such as foot bath salts, essential oils of all kinds, bath soaps, shampoos, peace bodhi leaf paintings... all products of the Cooperative are associated with tourism activities, promoting local strengths.

This has helped the retail sales of Sinh Duoc Cooperative's products grow strongly and reach more than 1 billion VND/month. The Cooperative creates regular jobs for more than 40 workers with salaries ranging from 4.5 to 8 million VND/person/month.

Gia Tuong Agricultural Cooperative with the mission of providing agricultural production services to members; creating conditions to support the household economy to develop increasingly towards more effective commodity production; encouraging the development of diverse forms of activities.

The cooperative always focuses on building a true collective economic model with many industries: supplying agricultural materials, providing in-field irrigation services, and collecting and treating waste.

Cooperatives have made important contributions to restructuring the agricultural sector, effectively implementing the policy of land conversion and accumulation, having many new production models, applying scientific and technical advances in production, linking and consuming products, forming and developing concentrated production areas, and creating many crop and livestock models that bring high economic value and stable income to the people.

The Cooperative is providing 6 service stages for 950 production member households. For many years, the Cooperative has been awarded by all levels, and in 2023, it was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee.

The 2025 Cooperative Star Award aims to recognize and honor cooperatives and cooperative unions with outstanding achievements in production and business development activities, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

This contributes to affirming the role and position of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system in developing the collective economy, while promoting propaganda and supporting members to link production and business according to the value chain, applying science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

At the same time, it helps to enhance brand recognition and image of cooperatives in the process of development and international integration, promoting the cooperative model to develop quickly and sustainably.

This is the second year that the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance has organized the Cooperative Star Award. The award is for cooperatives operating in all sectors and fields of the economy, organized and operating under the current Law on Cooperatives and the Law on Credit Institutions, with good management capacity; and with a minimum operating period of 3 years.

At the same time, they are active units in solving employment, increasing income for members and developing household economy. Investing, expanding scale, applying scientific and technical advances, technical innovations in production and business activities to improve product and service quality.
