Mr. Doan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ninh Binh province, said that Ninh Binh is one of the localities that has implemented the 4-layer model of ensuring network safety and security early and completed the connection with the national cyberspace safety monitoring center. Ensuring information security to serve the connection and exploitation of the national population database according to the standards of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Speaking at the conference, Ninh Binh Provincial Party Secretary Doan Minh Huan said that since 2022, Ninh Binh has become a province that can balance its budget. According to the planning of Ninh Binh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister, Ninh Binh is oriented to become a centrally-run city by 2035, with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area and a creative city.

“This conference is an opportunity for state management agencies and businesses to find directions, strategies, and solutions for data development and digital technology application to promote the digital transformation process in general and in Ninh Binh province in particular to take place more strongly and effectively,” Mr. Huan affirmed.

At the conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam noted that through this forum, Ninh Binh also considered selecting key points and focuses on digital transformation when implementing.

According to Deputy Minister Phan Tam, Ninh Binh has many resources that can be digitized. From historical traditions to scenic spots, cultural traditions, local products... All can be digitized and brought to the digital environment, as raw materials for developing the digital economy.

“Development requires new infrastructure. Digital economy requires digital infrastructure. Localities choose appropriate digital infrastructure and platforms to solve their problems. Therefore, Ninh Binh needs to make the most of digital transformation to increase the proportion of digital economy in GRDP,” said Deputy Minister Phan Tam.
